Power your home or business with clean, sustainable energy...

Designed & Installed by Experts
At Eco Power & Lighting, our roots are in electrical installation — a foundation that made expanding into solar panel systems both a logical and exciting step. We're not just installing panels; we're helping people generate their own electricity, reduce their bills, and make a meaningful contribution to a greener future.
We believe so strongly in the potential of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems that in certain cases, we’ll even invest up to 50% of the system cost ourselves. That’s our level of confidence in this technology.
Every system is installed by our team of fully qualified electricians and MCS-certified solar installers. We tailor each setup to your property, usage patterns, and goals — whether you're a homeowner looking to cut energy bills, or a business aiming to reduce your carbon footprint. You’ll receive a detailed performance forecast, a custom system design, and full support from consultation through to commissioning.
Solar Photovoltaic is one of many renewable energy’s. It is one of the most popular and can be used for small or large-scale installations to generate electricity from sunlight or light; yes, you can generate power from Solar Panels even on cloudy days! There is the environmental impact of manufacturing these panels and the recycling of them, however, currently compared to conventional fuels used this impact is much smaller, less invasive to our air quality and earth. Solar Panels are the way forward in sustainable development. Then the additional carbon-free neutral footprint that generating your own energy leaves, enables us to have a very small impact, if any on the environment. The sun is a huge energy source which enables us to generate clean, non-polluting sustainable electricity.

How does Solar PV & Batteries Work?
Solar PV systems capture sunlight and convert it into usable electricity. Panels can be installed on-roof, in-roof, or ground-mounted, depending on your property. A typical system includes;
Solar panels that generate electricity
An inverter that converts DC power into usable AC electricity
Integration with your consumer unit
Optional battery storage to store surplus energy
Solar energy can power lighting, appliances, heating systems, and business equipment — and works effectively even on cloudy days.
Adding a solar battery, such as the Pylontech Pelio-L-5.12, allows excess electricity to be stored and used later, increasing self-sufficiency and reducing reliance on the grid.
We also install solar immersion switches, which divert unused solar energy to heat your water tank — ensuring no energy goes to waste.

Solar Emersion & Solar Thermal
A solar immersion switch is an excellent way to get more from your renewable energy system. It diverts surplus electricity generated by your Solar PV panels or heat pump to your immersion heater, providing free hot water. This smart technology helps reduce reliance on your boiler, lowers energy bills, and ensures you make the most of the clean energy your system produces.
Solar thermal systems offer an efficient and eco-friendly way to heat water using energy from the sun. A rooftop collector absorbs solar radiation, transferring heat to a fluid that circulates through a hot water cylinder. Ideal for homes and businesses, solar thermal technology reduces your carbon footprint and energy costs while providing a sustainable hot water solution year-round.
